1959 Gibson Les Paul Custom w/ Bigsby
(consignment) 1959 Les Paul Custom w/ factory Bigsby and 3 double white PAF's, guitar also has original stoptail inserts w/ factory white pearloid caps, with the Bigsby the guitar weighs 9 lbs 10 ounces, Bigsby assembly weighs in the 10-12 ounce range so the guitar would be right in the 9 lbs even range with a stop tailpiece, guitar is straight with no repairs or breaks, has had a pro re-fret with the frets over the binding, output jackplate is non-original, one of the Grover tuners has been replaced and the wiring for the pickup selection has been changed. The way it is wired right now is: the bridge pickup volume and tone pots are master volume and tone for both bridge and neck pickups, the neck pickup volume and tone are wired to the middle pickup so that pickup can be brought in at any position of the selector switch, the middle pickup does not go to the switch. This can easily be wired back to stock and no parts were changed. Super comfortable '59 neck profile and the guitar is a joy to play! Comes with original black case.
