NEW TruVintage - MannMade USA '50's ABR-1 bridge replica. This is a project that's been in the works for a few years that I've done in partnership with John Mann, a long time local friend, engineer & machinist. John designed and made the original PRS trem system along with other parts for PRS for many years. We started the project by sending out an original ABR-1 bridge that I own for a metallurgy study to get the exact make up of the original metals used. The bridge was then sent out for a 3D digitized scan to get the exact shape. Once the correct metals were sourced, John then machined the parts and we went thru a number of versions and prototypes to check against the original parts. Once completed, the parts were nickel plated without the use of copper before the nickel to be vintage accurate. We did a small prototype run and the first 7 bridges are being used on the MGL - Dave Johnson 15th Anniversary run of guitars that are just about completed. I have 8 more of these bridges available for sale. They have no name or logo on the bottom due to being a small run. The production run that we're working on will have the TruVintage name on them. NOTE: (The saddles and screws fit fairly loosely into the bridge body as do the originals. So it is possible for a saddle to fall out with no string pressure.) WE HAVE ANOTHER RUN OF THESE IN THE WORKS AND FINAL PRICING WILL BE AVAILABLE SOON. Priority Flat Rate Mail-$10.40 within the US, email for shipping cost outside of the US)
